PROJECTS In line with Masibumbane's mission statement, eleven projects have evolved for the holistic care and emopwerment of the clients and their children.
This is Masibumbane's core project, where Clients are put on a four-month empowering programme that aims at make them as self-sufficient as possible by teaching skills and encouraging self-reliance... Clients are given with pre- and post-HIV testing counseling, regular by visits to the CD4 clinic are encouraged so that their CD4 counts can be monitored... Assists clients in obtaining essential documentation... The aim of the crocheting project is to help clients who are waiting for grants to begin earning an income... Clients are taught to make a small organic garden that can begin providing sustainable supply of spinach, kale, cabbage... The aim of this project is to teach clients how to make the most of their limited financial resources by teaching to the simple principles of budgeting, saving... This project looks after the interests of client's children... This project aims to promote the spiritual growth of clients who have made a first time commitment or a recommitment to Jesus Christ... Jehovah Jirah is a job creation project aimed at setting up clients in small entrepreneurial-type businesses Currently the Mission is assisting three crèches ((Ekuthuleni Creche, Tholokhuhle Day Care Centre, Masibambane Crèche) and has developed a vision for involvement with other crèches in Mpophomeni... The purpose of this project is to mobilize prayers for specific needs for specific clients and for Masibumbane... |
