Jehovah Jirah Job and Micro-business Creation Project

Jehovah Jirah is a job creation project aimed at setting up clients in small entrepreneurial-type businesses to further ensure their long-term self-reliance.

Qedindlala Community Garden.

The objectives of this project are: the production of vegetables in low input cost and sustainable way, to promote self-reliance, initiative, entrepreneurship and to promote the practice of organic farming in the community. The agreed basic principles for the garden are: no use of any chemicals, intercropping, crop rotation and mulching.

ACAT

The Mission has a co-operative project with ACAT to develop micro-business entrepreneurial projects. There is currently one group of five clients running selling secondhand clothing business.

Chicken rearing

The Mission is working with the poultry section at Cedara Agricultural College to establish a home-based rearing project with Zulu chickens.

Employment agency

Employment opportunities are sought for clients.
